Uber’s first employee quits board

His name rings a bell within the world’s largest taxi-hailing company, Uber.

Few weeks after its initial public offering which raised $8.1 billion, Uber’s first employee, Ryan Graves has resigned from the company’s board.

Ryan Graves was briefly the chief executive officer of Uber in a brief stint before Travis Kalanick came on board.

Ryan no longer works with Uber but he remained on the board after he stepped down from his CEO position.

People with the knowledge of the matter hinted that he must have reduced his shares in the company after the IPO.

Uber’s current CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi came on board after former chief executive, Kalanick resigned amidst a controversial circumstances in 2017.
