Tension in Osun community as two people were mysteriously murdered in four days

The mysterious death of two persons in Ejigbo town of Osun State within the past four days has created tension in the society.

Pageone gathered that the first victim was mysteriously murdered on Monday 6th July, while the second was killed on Wednesday 8th July respectively.

According to a source in the Ejigbo community, a man identified as Musibau Muraina was found dead on Sunday with his stomach cut open and his intestines exposed.

The mysterious death which occurred at Oya’s compound in Ejigbo, Osun State around 6:45pm left neighbours bewildered as residents flee the community.

A similar case happened on Wednesday 8th July, as the corpse of a 45-year-old woman identified as Misratu Azeez, was found at Oloris’s compound in the town.

The deceased, who was from Moye’s compound, was found dead at about 10:30am with an injury on her forehead.

According to the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola who confirmed the incident, a police team has visited the two scenes while a suspect identified as Bamidele Aboderin, was arrested in connection to the murder of Misratu. No one has been arrested over the murder of Musibau.

Opalola said that the State’s Commissioner of Police, Undie Adie, has urged residents of the community to remain calm as the state’s police have begin investigation into the mysterious deaths.
