South Africa High Commission shuts down in Nigeria after xenophobic attacks

The South African High Commission in Nigeria has shut down its operations.

The decision is coming a day after Nigeria withdrew its participation from the World Economic Forum for Africa going in in Cape Town after several xenophobic attacks targeted Nigerians and other African nationals.

Yesterday, Nigeria withdrew its participation from the ongoing World Economic Forum for Africa in Cape Town South Africa.

Nigeria has also recalled its ambassador to South Africa amongst other plans to register its displeasure on the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other Africans.
