Dangote Sugar profit fell to N12.7 billion in six months

For the first half of the year, Dangote Sugar Refinery, the country’s largest maker of sugar said it made a net profit fell to N12.7 billion.

This is a major decline in profitability given that the company reported a net profit of N17 billion same time last year.

Revenue for the six months period fell to N84 billion compared to N118 billion reported in 2018.
