Seven Up said its profit fell by 582% in Q4 2016

Seven Up Bottling Company PLC said it recorded a net loss of NGN2,8 billion loss in the fourth quarter of 2016.

However, the result shows that the the company’s financials has been badly affected by the economic recession Nigeria has been plunged in since the second quarter of last year.

Net profit fell from NGN410 million meaning the company’s profit has fallen by 31% year on year.

Seven Up Bottling Company said it total revenue for the period was NGN28 billion. This is a positive growth when compared to NGN20 billion it reported in the fourth quarter of 2015.
