Tesla Recalls Close to 3,900 Cybertrucks Over Faulty Pedals

Tesla Inc has recalled 3,878 Cybertruck pickups with faulty accelerator pedals, Bloomberg reports.

The faulty pedals increases the risk of a crash as they can dislodge and cause the vehicle to unintentionally accelerate.

Tesla received notice of two customer claims related to the issue, the report added, citing to a recall report submitted to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Tesla will fix the accelerator pedals free of charge.

Tesla is yet to break out deliveries for the model in its quarterly production and deliveries reports.

Tesla Chief Elon Musk has cautioned that the company is unlikely to reach an annualized production rate of 250,000 pickups until sometime next year.
