Cross-chain service Mixin Network has offered the attacker who exploited it for $200 million over the weekend a $20 million “bug bounty reward” for the return of the funds.
In an on-chain message, Mixin asked the hacker to keep in touch contact us via bug@mixin.one for the reward details.
In an update posted on X, Mixin said the losses were not as significant as estimated.
“Specific reimbursement rules still need some time,” it added.
Late Sunday, Mixin Network said it had temporarily suspended deposit and withdrawal services, following the reported $200 million exploit, until it can implement a fix.
