Paris Saint-Germain partners Crypto.com to launch AI-generated NFT posters

French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) F.C. has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com to launch matchday posters created with artificial intelligence tools. Fans will collect the posters as NFTs.

The posters were designed by Benjamin Benichou, an artist that uses generative AI as part of his creative process. Seven out Benichou’s 1,970 incarnations were ultimately chosen to be released via the NFT series.

All seven poster NFTs will be airdropped for free on Crypto.com’s NFT platform for eligible account holders to claim.
Fans who collect all seven NFTs will also be eligible to win prints of Benicho’s original poster artwork, signed shirts from PSG players, and VIP tickets to attend the team’s final home match of the season.

PSG and Crypto.com signed a sponsorhip deal in 2021. The sponsorship reportedly pays the team about $30 million across three years, according to Sports Business Journal.
