The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority on Tuesday announced that bus fares in the state would be returning to 100%.
The commission made this announcement while sharing a picture of the statement on their verified Instagram page.
The statement read in part, “With effect from Saturday, 1st April, bus fares on all regulated buses – BRT, standard and FLM- shall revert to 100 per cent rate.”
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on 8 February, 2023 announced the reduction of transportation fare in the state by 50 per cent.
