A Bloomberg report has it that Pinterest Inc is laying off about 150 employees.
The layoffs, which amount to less than 5% of Pinterest’s total workforce, put the digital search company on the list of technology companies that are firing workers to cut costs.
Pinterest has informed the impacted employees, the report said.
Reuters reports that Pinterest is "making organizational changes to further set us up to deliver against our company priorities and our long-term strategy."
Pinterest will support all impacted employees with separation packages, benefits, and other services during the transition, Reuters reports.
