The campaign convoy of the Lagos Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, was attacked by thugs reported to have been armed with guns and other dangerous weapons on Sunday.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at the Ikoga junction in Badagry Local Government Area.
Some members of the party and journalists sustained injuries in the attack.
