Risevest CEO Eke Urum Found Guilty of Misconduct

An independent panel has found out that the CEO of Nigerian fintech platform Risevest Eke Urum was involved in misconduct at the workplace.

PageOne.ng had reported late August that Urum was being investigated on allegations of midconduct by an independent board which comprised of Tomi Davies of TVC labs, Odunoluwa Longe of TLP advisory, and Toun Tunde-Anjous of The People Practice.

According to an internal memo seen by PageOne.ng, Eke Urum will now be replaced by Tony Odiba as acting CEO.

Risevest also promised an audit of its company culture as well as the appointment of a Chief People Officer to help fine-tune its processes to meet global standards of professionalism.
