YouTuber BitBoy Crypto Sues Fellow YouTuber Atozy for Defamation

You Tuber Ben Armstrong has filed a
defamation lawsuit alleging against fellow YouTuber Erling Mengshoel, Jr.

Armstrong runs a YouTube Franchise under the pseudonym BitBoy Crypto and has 1.44 million subscribers.

Mengshoel, known as Atozy, also has a YouTube franchise with 1.23 million subscribers.

Armstrong alleged that he sustained damages in excess of $75,000 as regards to Mengshoel’s Nov. 8, 2021, video where Atozy claimed that “This Youtuber Scams His Fans… BitBoy Crypto.”

Mengshoel’s video relates to comments Armstrong made about the cryptocurrency of Pamp Network, pamp (PAMP).

Armstrong claims that in the video, Atozy made repeated attacks on his honesty, credibility and reliability.

Pamp started trading July 2020 and touched a record high $2.15 on Aug. 10, 2020, CoinCodex data show. It’s now quoted about $0 and has a market cap of $2.04.

Armstrong alleges that Mengshoel states several times that he is one of a group of ‘dirtbag influencers.’

Atozy said he is looking for financial help to fight the claim.

“I stand by the allegations in the lawsuit, and don’t understand why he filed it,” Atozy tweeted with a link to a CNBC story about social media influencers that features Armstrong.
