Chinese EV makers Nio, Xpeng and Li Auto soar on July car deliveries

Shares of Chinese electric vehicle startups Nio, Xpeng and Li Auto jumped in pre-market trade in the U.S.

The companies had posted a rise in July car deliveries.

Nio delivered 10,052 vehicles in July, up 26.7%% year-on-year.

Li Auto delivered 10,422 of its Li ONE sports utility vehicle in July, up 21.3% year-over-year.

Xpeng delivered most cars. The Guangzhou, China-based firm said July deliveries totaled 11,524, up 40% year-on-year.
