Quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group is planning an expansion to the small island nation of The Bahamas.
Susquehanna operates in both traditional as well as crypto markets.
The financial services firm, which is currently based in Bala Cynwyd Pennsylvania is now following Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX move to The Bahamas.
Susquehanna has been active in the crypto market since at least 2018, trading across centralized and decentralized trading marketplaces.
Susquehanna has also backed firms including KuCoin in venture deals.
The Bahamas is relatively friendly in terms of regulation for crypto companies.
