In a post shared on his official Twitter page today, Thursday, the Activist said Obi’s supporters have made social media mentally unsafe for citizens expressing their constitutional rights of freedom of expression with cyber bullying, targeted harassment, threats to life and blackmail.

His post reads,

HE @PeterObi your supporters have made social media mentally unsafe for citizens expressing their constitutional rights of freedom of expression with cyber bullying, targeted harassment, threats to life and blackmail. This is your brand experience to most now. #ShunExtremism

Nigerians will not be cowered by the recently activated cyber terror cells that is threatening to make our election unsafe and put the lives of others in harm’s way. This is against the country’s Cybercrime Act 2015 part III sub 18 Highlighting Cyber Terrorism

The Nigerian authorities should also be aware of the ongoing CyberTerrorism being unleashed on citizens by Peter Obi fans with untold extremism, which may escalate and further exacerbate our fragile polity. This is unhealthy & immediate action must be taken.
