SoftBank Group Corp-owned chip designer Arm Ltd has appointed Rene Haas as its chief executive officer and member of the board.
Haas’ appointment is effective immediately.
Rene Haas’ appointment comes at a time the chip designer looks to re-enter the public markets.
PageOne.ng reported earlier that the Nvidia-Arm sales deal had crashed, and that Arm would seek an IPO instead.
