Chipmaker Intel Corp has appointed David Zinsner, Micron Technology Inc finance head, as its chief financial officer and executive vice president.
David Zinsner will assume the role on Jan. 17. He joined Micron in 2018.
Zinsner brings to Intel more than 20 years of financial and operational experience in semiconductors and manufacturing.
Micron is searching for a permanent finance head but as named Chief Business Officer Sumit Sadana as interim CFO.
Intel had earlier said CFO George Davis will retire in May.
Still in the game of switching and crossing executives, Gregory Bryant, Intel’s Client Computing group head would be leaving at the end of January.
He will be replaced by Executive Vice President Michelle Johnston Holthaus.
