Qlik confidentially files for U.S. IPO

Reuters reports that data analytics platform Qlik confidentially filed for a U.S. initial public offering.

Qlik went private upon acquisition by buyout firm Thoma Bravo roughly six years ago.

Qlik agreed to be taken private by Thoma Bravo in 2016 through a nearly $3 billion deal.

Qlik offers analytics, data visualization and intelligence solutions through a cloud platform to more than 50,000 enterprise customers.

Notable amongst its customers are PayPal Holdings Inc, Airbus SE , BP PLC and England’s National Health Service.
