
Software giant Microsoft Corp is set to secure the EU antitrust approval for its $16 billion bid for artificial intelligence and speech technology firm Nuance Communications Inc, Reuters reports.
The deal is Microsoft’s second biggest after its $26.2 billion buy of LinkedIn in 2016.
Microsoft said in April that the deal that will boost its presence in cloud solutions for healthcare customers.
Reuters added that the company is also in preliminary discussions with the UK antitrust agency CMA ahead of a formal request for approval of the deal.
