Award will spur better performance at FAD FM – Fidelis Duker

Filmmaker and the proprietor of FAD93.1FM, Fidelis Duker, has revealed that the recent award won by the station would spur its staff to perform better.

The Calabar, Cross River State-based station was adjudged the ‘Next Rated Radio Station in Nigeria’ at the Media-Nite Out Awards 2021.

While receiving the award in Lagos, Duker said that the radio station had, over the years, gone beyond just providing news to listeners, to dishing out exemplary programmes in several areas including sports and entertainment.

He described the award as a reflection of the hard work of the management and staff of the station, promising that the recognition would encourage them to continue providing improved service to the public.

He assured ‘Cross Riverians’ and Nigerians, that Fad Media will continue to do its best by developing more people-oriented programs that will birth development and emancipation for the nation.

The four-year-old radio station has in the last three months received three awards for its ‘exemplary programming and in-depth news coverage’.
