FCA and Engie sign agreement to create European e-Mobile giant

Fiat Chrysler (FCA), wholly owned subsidiary of Stellantis, and Engie have announced the signing of a full set of agreements to create a Joint Venture in the e-Mobility sector.

The agreements included investors and shareholders agreement and were executed in furtherance of the Memorandum of Understanding announced on 12 November 2020.

The Joint Venture, aimed at making access to electric mobility easier, will offer a full suite of innovative services and solutions – such as residential, business and public charging infrastructures, as well as energy charging subscriptions and Vehicle-to-Grid technologies.

Completion of the transaction,which is subject to customary conditions such as clearance by Antitrust authorities, is expected to occur in the coming months.
