President Trump fires U.S Cybersecurity Chief Chris Krebs

United States President, Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he has “terminated” top U.S. cybersecurity official Christopher Krebs.

Trump said in his tweet that Krebs gave a “highly inaccurate” statement about the security of the 2020 presidential election.

Christopher C. Krebs was the first and former Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in the United States Department of Homeland Security, serving from November 2018 until President Donald Trump called for his termination on November 17, 2020.
