Femi Otedola reacts to #EndSARS protests and the shooting of protesters

Billionaire Nigerian businessman, Femi Otedola has reacted to the #EndSARS protests and the shooting of peaceful protesters in Lekki Toll Plaza.

Otedola took to his official instagram page on Sunday 25th October to commiserate with those who lost their loved ones in cause of the protest.

Pageone recalls that the End SARS protests started on the 8th of October and on the 20th of October soldiers opened fire on peaceful protesters who were waving the Nigerian flag and singing the National Anthem.

However, this angered many and caused chaos in the country as hoodlums started looting and burning various Government and private owner properties across the country.

Reacting to the protests and the killing of peaceful protesters, the popular Nigerian businessman and father of Nigeria’s most famous female Disk Junky wrote on Instagram:

“The horrors that have been unfolding in our country have left me filled with sadness. I deeply commiserate with those who have lost their loved ones and as a father, I share the sentiment of my three daughters who protested in Lagos and London.

“As a young boy of 16, I participated in the ‘Ali Must Go Protest’ of 1978, so I understand the determination of our youths who rightly want our country to be better.

“We must all do our part to make Nigeria great! I will continue to do my own quota in providing for those who are most in need of support in our country in these tough times .…F.Ote.”
