White House staffers told to stay home if they have COVID-19 symptoms.

As President Trump is hospitalized with the coronavirus, White House staffers who may exhibit COVID-19 symptoms have been urged in an email to “please stay home,” according to a report.

“As a reminder, if you are experiencing any symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever, headache, new loss of taste or smell, muscle aches, chills, diarrhea, or difficulty breathing, please stay home and do not come to work until you are free of any symptoms,” reads the email obtained by New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi, The Hill reported.

“Affected staff should inform their supervisors and seek care from their primary care provider,” the all-staff missive from the White House Management Office says.

“Staff should not go to the White House Medical Unit clinic for any COVID-19 testing inquiries,” it adds. “If you or your colleagues believe that you should be practicing telework, or have questions about your ability to do so, please contact your supervisor.”
