Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris tested negative for coronavirus on Thursday, one day before President Trump announced he tested positive for the disease, according to a report.
Harris was tested on Thursday as part of her campaign’s routine testing protocol, CNN reported.
The California senator tweeted Friday morning that she and her husband Doug Emhoff were wishing President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump — who also tested positive — a “full and speedy recovery.”
“Doug and I join Joe Biden and Dr. Biden in wishing President Trump and the First Lady a full and speedy recovery,” she tweeted. “We’re keeping them and the entire Trump family in our thoughts.”
