It was gathered that one of the women that was rescued is an undergraduate of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

It was reported that a total of 47 children were evacuated from the building.

The facility identified as Oroyemi Elizabeth Covenant Home and Care Centre was sealed off by Women, Children and Social Affairs Commissioner, Olubukola Olaboopo, the police and other officials of the ministry.

Olaboopo said that the government received information about the illegal activities which have been going on in the facility for over a period of three to four years.
