Ikorodu-based Football Academy, FC Ablaze received a shock of their lives when they got a complete set of jerseys from current European Champions Bayer Munich.

The German champions contacted Ablaze in a bid to support the growth and development of the kids at the club.
“It was like a dream, we were all shocked when we saw their message in our DM on social media,” – Osho Samuel Oluwafisayo, the Academy Director stated.

“It was just a few days to the EUFA Champions League finals. Everything happened so fast and in a matter of days, we received the full set of jerseys.

“Mr. Lars Weichert who is the club representative told us that they see all that we do with the “Slum to the World” project and they are willing to support us further.

Ablaze FC is creating a platform for kids to grow and play the game they love. These are kids who are unable to afford to pay to join football academies, but the club is encouraging youngsters with the platform.

Recalled that Ablaze FC was the first to win the Bayern Munich Youth Cup (2018), they beat Sporting Dreams Academy of Abuja by a lone goal in the final.
