The African Development Bank, AfDB has appointed Mr. Akinwunmi Adesina for another five year term as the president of the Bank.
His reappointment was announced by Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, who said:
“Dr Akinwunmi Adesina has been re-elected for a second tenor of 5 years as the President of @AfDB_Group
The election was by a double majority from the regional and non regional countries. 100% of Regional and 100% of Non Regional Votes”
