The Oyo State Police Command have re-arrested wanted serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, who escaped from police custody some days ago.
Shodipe is the prime suspect in the series of ritual killings in Akinyele Local government Area of Oyo State.
He is the man behind the death of Barakat Bello, Azeezat Shomuyiwa, Grace Oshiagwu and others.
Shodipe’s re-arrest was confirmed by the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, on Sunday 23rd August.
The fugitive was earlier arrested and paraded by the police before he escaped suspiciously from police custody.
After his first arrest, Shodipe confessed to be responsible for the killings in Akinyele Local Government.
Shodipe narrated how he killed his victims without being seen with the help of a juju given to him by a native doctor.
How he was arrested has not being revealed, but it was reported that a group in the state caught the serial killer and handed him over to the police.
