The cause of death of Cady Groves revealed three months after

More than three months after the shocking, sudden death of country singer Cady Groves, officials finally have a cause.

The 30-year-old musician, best known for “Love Actually” and “This Little Girl,” died of complications from chronic ethanol abuse, reported Today.

Ethanol is the chemical compound found in alcoholic beverages.

Tennessee’s Davidson County Medical Examiner’s office offered the ruling 14 weeks after the May 2 death of Groves.

The stunning passing of the young star was first confirmed by her brother Cody Groves on Twitter.

“Cady Groves has left this world,” tweeted the mourning sibling at the time. “Details are limited right now but family is trying to get them and will keep people updated. Rest in peace, little sis.”

The musician had recently completed work on her fifth album, “Bless My Heart.” The EP dropped less than a month after her sudden death, noted Wide Open Country.

The Kansas-born star began her career in 2009, touring with the likes of Good Charlotte and Third Eye Blind before transitioning to country music, noted Vel Records.

Groves is the third of the family’s siblings to die before their 31st birthday.

Her brother Kelly was 28 years old when he died from a prescription drug addiction in 2013 and anther bother, Casey, also 28, died from prescription drug abuse around 2006, according to The Oklahoman.
