BBC apologises for using racial slur in news report

BBC Director-General Tony Hall has apologised for the use of the n word in a news report about the alleged racist attack on an NHS worker saying “we should have taken a different approach at the time of broadcast”

His apology is coming after DJ Sideman resigned his appointment after the network in one of its News bulletin showed a journalist using the ‘n’ word severally.
