311 stranded Nigerians in UAE arrive Abuja

The federal government of Nigeria has announced the arrival of another batch of 311 Nigerians stranded in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

BREAKING:
EVACUATION UPDATE

@flyairpeace flight with 311 Evacuees arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja at about 1150HRS from the United Arab Emirates, today Saturday, 8th of August, 2020.

This brings the number of evacuees from the UAE to a total of 2,353.

Some of the evacuees disembarked in Abuja while others proceeded to MM Int’l Airport, Lagos.

They all tested Negative to #COVID__19 and now on a 14-day SELF-ISOLATION as mandated by @NCDCgov, @Fmohnigeria, and Presidential Task Force on #COVID-19.
