A woman has been arrested after a teen girl was knifed in the head and neck in a Walsall street.
According to BirminghamLive, the 19-year-old – who has not been named – was detained this morning (August 4) after the alleged attack in Bridge Street at around 4.14pm yesterday.
She remains in police custody for questioning, a spokesman for West Midlands Police revealed.
Emergency crews – including the Midlands Air Ambulance – dashed to the incident shortly after the drama unfolded and eyewitness Mark Andrew told BlackCountryLive that a number of medics were working on the girl for ‘some time’.
