Virgin Media broadband goes offline

Several hundreds of customers have complained that they are unable to get online due to issues with their Virgin Media broadband.

According to Mirror, more than 700 people have lodged complaints with Down Detector, a website that collects issues with networks.

The majority of the reports are coming from London, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool and Glasgow.

While internet issues are always annoying, the impact on users may be more pronounced now than ever.

The medium reported that not having a good broadband connection can be costly with so many people working from home.
