Brooklyn man who was mortally wounded in gun attack refuses to talk police

A Brooklyn man who was mortally wounded in a gun attack on Saturday still has refused to tell the police anything about how he was shot, authorities said.

Police responded to a 911 call around 4 p.m. found the man, 23, outside 662 Nostrand Ave., a bike and scooter shop in a commercial section of Crown Heights. Several small businesses are located on the block.

A plastic cup apparently used to cover evidence at the scene of a shooting on Nostrand Ave. in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

The wounded man was “uncooperative” with officers early in the investigation, said a police source.

An ambulance took him to Kings County Hospital, where he took a turn for the worse and died, said the source.

The man’s identity was not immediately released.
