Founder of famous Medcontour Medical and Laser Clinic, Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju, also known as Dr. Anu, has opened up on her ordeals with a staff of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and a blog.

Founder of famous Medcontour Medical and Laser Clinic, Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju, also known as Dr. Anu, has opened up on her ordeals with a staff of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and a blog.

Narrating her ordeal, Dr. Anu said that her Clinic was locked due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She alleged that FCCPC broke into her facility, took pictures and videos of her theatre and her medical ward and left with some of her things.

Dr. Anu said that she reported what happened to the Nigerian Medical Association, and they wrote to FCCPC, telling the commission that it had no business with medical facilities.

She said that she was officially introduced to FCCPC as a registered doctor.

Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju talked about how Medcontour couldn’t do any follow up on patients because the facility was sealed. She said that they had to refer patients to other medical facilities for follow-ups.

Talking about the botched surgery she conducted on one Mrs. Nneka Onwuzuligbo who is now dead, Dr. Anu trashed claims that she died during surgery, stating that she was fine after surgery.

According to Dr. Anu, the patient was fine after surgery and was referred to another facility after three days when they discovered she had respiratory issues.

She said that they referred her to another facility because her facility didn’t have a respiratory unit, adding that she died after 31 days in the facility she was referred to.

Dr. Anu also made it clear that nobody has has ever died in Medcontour. She alleged that someone is sponsoring false rumours about her.

Talking about a blogger “Gistlover” who tried to blackmail her, she said that when she contacted the blogger telling him that the story posted about her wasn’t true, she was asked to pay the sum of N2 Million, which the blogger later brought down to N1.5 Million.

According to her, when she refused to pay the blogger, he started posting false informations about her.
