172 Nigerians return from Kenya, Uganda


The federal government of Nigeria has announced another evacuation of 172 Nigerians from Kenya and Uganda.

A statement by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, the commission said:

“Flight B777-200 departs Nairobi and Uganda with about 172 Evacuees en route Abuja and is expected to arrive Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja today Wednesday, 1st of July, 2020.”

Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of NiDCOM, said all the returnees tested negative:

“All tested negative and to be on a 14 day compulsory isolation during which time they will be tested again by @NCDCgov,” she said.
