Skyway capital

The government of New Zealand has issued another warning on Skyway Capital and New Economic Evolution of the World, NEEW.

In one of its flashy advertisements on Instagram and Facebook, Skyway Capital targets people from across the world to invest in its cable car project in Dubai.

Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority said Skyway Capital, RSW Investment Group, NEEW-TNG, Skyway Investment Group, Skyway Group TNG and RTN Limited are not permitted to provide financial services to New Zealand residents.’

The FMA recommended that the general public exercise caution before dealing with the New Economic Evolution of the World (NEEW) (formerly Skyway Investment Group, Skyway Capital, Skyway Group) and the websites www.tng-neew.com (the website) and www.mycryptounit.com and www.skywayinvestgroup.com. We believe NEEW has the hallmarks of a scam.

We note a bank account number listed on the website in the name of a third party in Russia.

It would be recalled that in July 2019 and July 2018, the FMA warned members of the public in New Zealand about Skyway offering financial services to New Zealand residents through social media and other New Zealand residents without being a registered financial service provider in New Zealand. Skyway and RSW Investment Group Ltd are not registered as financial service providers in New Zealand and are therefore not permitted to provide financial services to New Zealand residents.

“The FMA also noted warnings by regulators in Belgium, Lithuania and Estonia in relation to Skyway. It is noted on the warnings that Skyway could be involved in a scam and is an unlicensed entity in those jurisdictions,” the statement said.
