Recently, Bamboo Invest App launched its equity trading services for Nigerians at home and in the diaspora. However, not many people really know the folks behind the app.
Firstly, the Bamboo Invest allows Nigerians to buy and sell stocks, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and index funds, derivatives listed in major exchanges in the U.S. such as the NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange. The app and its stock trading services which is made possible through a partnership with one of the largest digital trading technology in the U.S., DriveWealth Inc. and Lambeth Capital, a Nigerian stockbroking firm duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Flutterwave, one of Africa’s largest payment platform.
While the startup has not launched in other African countries, it has not also launched trading in stocks listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
While researching into the team behind Bamboo, here is what we found out.
The app was founded by Richmond Bassey and Yanmo Omorogbe.
