YOUWIN recipient wins contract to design crew uniforms for Green Africa

Nigerian value airline startup, Green Africa said it has selected Zaris Fashion & Style Academy and Orange Culture for the creation of its crew uniforms.

Zaris Fashion & Style Academy is also a Federal Government of Nigeria YOUWIN recipient and the popularity of its website zaris.ng, has been recognized by Google Nigeria.

Orange Culture was founded by Adebayo Oke-Lawal in 2011 to create a heady mixture of Nigerian inspired print fabrics, colours and contemporary urban wear. He has also completed editorial work for Vogue Italia, Nataal and WOW magazine among others.

Zaris Fashion & Style Academy and Orange Culture will work with the airline to create designs that will reflect the core values of the Green Africa brand and will showcase Nigerian design and African heritage to the world.

Luke Lovegrove, Chief Commercial Officer at Green Africa stated that “the two design houses won hands down with their elegant yet functional designs. We are looking forward to revealing our crew uniforms in early 2020 – a key element of our visual identity and another step towards our full brand launch.”

Adebayo Oke-Lawal, Founder and Creative Director of Orange Culture and Chris Aggreh, Chief Brand Officer of Zaris Fashion & Style Academy jointly said “The designs will embrace what it means to be African, incorporating innovative fitting with form and function.
