Sharp’s Dynabook to go public by 2021

Dynabook, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sharp Corp said it plans to go public in 2021.

Dynabook is a laptop maker that was formerly owned by Toshiba before it was acquired by Sharp.

Sharp Corp had disclosed that it paid about $1.8 billion to acquire Dynabook in a transaction that was also backed by Taiwanese contract electronics manufacturing giant, Foxconn International.
