Kellogg suffers $32 million charges on Keebler sell off


America’s Kellogg Co said it will book a total of $32 million charges as a result of the restructuring at its North American business unit.

The restructuring led to the sale of its Keebler brand as well as other assets that were disposed of.

In a regulatory filing, the cereal maker said the charges consisted of $20 million of expenses related to employee severance and termination benefits.
