Google’s cloud server crashes affecting several apps


Alphabet Inc’s Google experienced one of its rate disruptions yesterday when several of its services run on the cloud had outages.

Several cloud services which includes the Google suites- Gmail, Drive, Google analytics and YouTube were affected.

The company said in a statement that:

“We believe we have identified the root cause of the congestion and expect to return to normal service shortly,”

However, Google added that the incident began at 3:25 p.m. EDT.

While the outage was ongoing, our team ran several tests on Google apps and the service showed it was active despite several apps such Google Analytics not streaming live data.
