Intel leads $17 million funding in Israel’s TriEye

An Israeli auto safety startup, TriEye, has just completed a funding round led by Intel Inc

TriEye’s proprietary technology can detect bad weather bore hand said it raised about $17 million.

Reuters reported that other investors in the round include Marius Nacht, co-founder of Check Point Software Technologies, and TriEye’s existing investor Grove Ventures, headed by TriEye chairman Dov Moran.

TriEye had in the past raised more than $20 million since 2017 which includes the $3 million seed funding from Grove Ventures.

Intel has did not comment on the matter.
