Nigeria’s AXA Mansard, the local unit of AXA has announced the appointment of Mr. Sohail Ali as an Executive Director of the Company.
The company said in a statement that his appointment has also been approved by the National Insurance Commission. Mr. Sohail Ali is a UK qualified Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries with over 15 years’ experience in consultancy, sales and operations in the Life, Pensions and Investment sectors.
He joined AXA Egypt in 2008 and was responsible at different stages for managing the P&L of the Life & Savings business, actuarial, compliance, internal audit, legal, risk management, underwriting and claims functions. He has been appointed as Executive Director overseeing the Actuary Division.
The Board and Management of AXA Mansard Insurance plc are confident that, with his wealth of experience, Sohail will add great value to the Board.
