The University of Lagos, a federal university in Nigeria’s commercial capital has launched its own TV station called UNILAG TV.
The TV station was unveiled this afternoon at the University’s Senate building to the academic community, the media, advertising agencies and the media industry at large.
Granted a broadcast license in November 2017, the TV station will be a general interest platform with contents focusing on education and entertainment.
In 2004, UNILAG was granted a radio license to become the first campus radio station in the history of Nigeria. The launch of a TV station will make the institution to boast of having the first campus television in Nigeria.
