Embattled Middle East private equity firm, Abraaj Holdings has converted its loan to Nigeria’s C and I Leasing Place to equity.
Abraaj has come under intense pressure to raise cash in paying investors and creditors as its goes through a technical restructuring.
C and I Leasing is Nigeria’s largest leasing company with major interest in shipping and maritime.
