Green Africa Airways appoints Jasmine Dhillon to head cabin services

Nigeria’s airline startup, Green Africa Airways has announced the appointment of Jasmine Dhillon as its Founding Director of Cabin Services.

The airline said in a statement that Jasmine Dhillon is an industry veteran with 24 years of experience, Jasmine most recently served as Head of Cabin Crew Department at Air Asia India.

In this role, Jasmine had responsibilities for hiring and training cabin crew, operations and maintaining a customer-focused environment across the company while keeping a close eye on revenue generation and cost efficiency. Most notably, she grew the department from serving two aircraft to 18 aircraft in three years, led the set-up of new hubs for cabin crew and prepared the department for IOSA certification.

Prior to Air Asia, Jasmine was Deputy General Manager of Inflight Services at SpiceJet. At SpiceJet, she oversaw the airline’s inflight department across India and had responsibility for a team of 20+ managers and nearly 900 crew members. Before joining SpiceJet, Jasmine served as Assistant Base Manager at Kingfisher Airlines. In this role, she was responsible for day-to-day administrative aspects of the base and crew, led the recruitment of cabin crew (along with HR) and successfully set up a new base in Hyderabad.

Jasmine’s earlier experiences include serving as a flight attendant with Tower Air, ModiLuft and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. She earned her BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi.
