Saudi to invest $10 billion in South Africa’s energy sector


South Africa might have secured about $10 billion in investment from Saudi Arabia for its ailing energy sector.

Africa’s second-largest economy has been on the lookout for a total of $110 billion to kickstart the economy after it slipped into a recession.

President Cyril Ramaphosa received the investment pledge from King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia during his visit to the port city of Jeddah.
